Flat paper is a series with controlled gloss and can express a wide range of textures from matte to glossy. By embossing on top of it, the preferred texture can be combined with the preferred pattern. Of course, it can also be used as is without embossing.
Flat paper is available in “laminated” and “coated” types, and one must choose between the two types depending on the resin used.
“Laminate type” is a method of laminating olefin film and paper. EV130TPD and LXD type are suitable for low drying temperatures, such as Polyurethane (PU) application, while PXDH type is suitable for high drying temperatures, such as PVC and water-based PU.
“Coating type” is a method in which a release agent is applied. The durability for high temperature is suitable for PVC application. Our VX series is one of the most common grades for PVC uses and MATTPLUS-08 is also well known as matte and smooth flat paper.
We propose EV130TPD / LXD (130°C) and PXDH (210°C) according to the drying temperature of the resin used by the customer.
LINTEC’s technology can produce a wide range of variations from matte to high-gloss for both “laminate type” and “coating type.” Below are the products of each type.
Our strength is that we could handle both “laminated” and “coated” types. Please contact us and we could propose the best product for your manufacturing process.
